Matter

Плагин Matter связывает систему Larnitech с Matter в обе стороны:

• устройства Larnitech появляются в Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa и SmartThings;
• устройства Matter (в том числе новые, подключаемые по Bluetooth) добавляются в Larnitech и доступны в приложении, сценариях и Blockly.

Плагин работает на самом контроллере. Облако и дополнительное оборудование не нужны.

Installation

1. Make sure the latest versions of LT Setup and LT Server are installed.
2. In LT Setup open the Plugins tab and find Matter bridge.
3. Press Install. When the installation is finished, press Enable.
4. Open the plugin page. It shows the bridge status, the pairing QR code and the list of devices.

Adding Larnitech devices to Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings

1. Open the Matter plugin page in LT Setup.
2. In the smart home app press Add accessory (Add device) and scan the QR code from the plugin page, or enter the manual pairing code.
3. Larnitech devices appear in the app, together with their current state.

Matter supports several controllers at once. To add a second app (for example, Google Home next to Apple Home), press Open commissioning window on the plugin page and scan the same QR code within about 3 minutes. The QR code and the pairing code never change.

Items marked as system (system="yes") and items that have no Matter equivalent (cameras, IR receivers and so on) are skipped.

Adding Matter devices to Larnitech

1. Open the Matter plugin page in LT Setup.
2. In the Pair Matter device form enter the device pairing code or QR code (MT:…).
3. A device that is already in the network is found over the network. A new or factory-reset device is found over Bluetooth, and the plugin passes the Wi-Fi settings to it.
4. After pairing, the device appears in Larnitech as an item.

A pairing code shared from another app expires after a few minutes. If pairing fails with "Could not connect to device", share the code again and repeat.

Troubleshooting

• The plugin page says "The Matter bridge does not answer": the service is still starting or has stopped. Wait a minute and press Reload. If it does not help, disable and enable the plugin.
• Apple Home shows the bridge as "Not Responding" after a reinstall: the pairing data was deleted. Remove the bridge from Apple Home and pair it again with the QR code from the plugin page.
• Removing the plugin keeps its settings and pairings. They are deleted only on full removal (purge); after that all apps and devices must be paired again.
